Hello Joe and Family. I just want to say I started the book Cry Silent Tears yesterday and just finished it. I want to say how thankful I am that you were able to overcome the terrible odds that you had to survive. My eyes have been opened as to how severe the fear can be instilled in children to remain silent. Your story has touched my life and I will never forget it. I pray that God will bless you from this point forward as you so deserve. Thank you for sharing your story I know it could not have been easy reliving and telling it.
Joe, Your book has made one of the biggest impacts on my life and I would like to truly thankyou. I really appreciate you sharing your story of tragedy and triumph. It took courage to share your experiences but I can truly see how this may have been a part of the healing process for you. Although I was very sad reading the horrific experiences you endured as a child I was drawn to continue reading until the very end. Truly a story of triumph.

You my friend are amazing and an inspiration to all.
My mum bought me your book Cry Silent Tears for christmas and picked it up today after lunch at 1pm it is now 10.30pm and have just finished it! I could not put it down. Cried many many tears for you. But a beam of happiness has hit me knowing how strong you have become and now have a wife and 5 children.
Now coming on to this site I have discovered there is another book and have just called my mum to search high and low for it!
May you live a long and wonderful life with your wife and children you deserve the best!

I am not yet halfway through your book, but i am so moved by it. I cried and cried last night and couldn't believe what i was reading.I don't know how you stayed so strong. At times, i know it sounds terrible, but i wish that god would take you, so you wouldn't of have to suffer anymore. I cuddled my children tightly last night and i just couldn't understand how anyone could hurt a hair on their child's head.
The most touching, moving and heart wrenching book I have ever read and I want to get quickly to the end to see a end to your misery.

i finished your book a few days ago,and it brought tears to my eyes through out every chapter, it brought a smile to my face on the very last page as i read how you became a remarkable man with a wonderful wife and children. no one can understand how you feel but yourself or anyone whose been in your situation, but i did feel sorry for you the things people do in this world are disgusting, and the things people did to you were too. your someone people should look up to, because the ending of your story is true. you are such a remarkable man.
i hope to read more of your books in the future.

Dear Joe,
I finished your heart rending story a few days ago after I saw it on my sister's bookshelf. I was drawn into it after the very first page and it had me crying all the way through, but made me smile at the end when I found out you overcame the odds and grew into a remarkable man, husband and loving father.
I was disgusted that people like that existed in the world. How could a human being do that to another?
Justice will be served.
My hat goes off to you for finding the strength to write that book, to send out a message to other people.
I have reccomended the book to all of my friends and have given it to my cousin and parents for christmas.
