hi, just finished your book it was one of the most compelling books i have ever read. im so glad youre getting on with your life,these people cant win.i was a foster carer for 10 yrs, i gave it up 7 yrs ago i seen a lot of abuse cases during my time and i hope i made a bit of a diference to the kids while they stayed in my house. although it probably wasnt enough. i now work for the social work dept in my local children and families team. im still trying to get the system to see their downfalls!!! good luck.

I'm in the process of reading your book(cry silent tears) and i find it absolutely spellbinding. I'm only about 12 pages in and I already find it quite upsetting. I can't believe someone you think you could have absolute faith in treats there son like (sorry for mi language) shit basically.
on the other hand you Father sounded an absolute godsend.

ive just finished reading your book and i think you are so brave to get through what happened to you. Im just starting a chilcare course and i think that the way the services were was disgusting. Ive past your book on to my family and friends to read and im sure they will find it as moving as i did. Thank you for opening my eyes to the kind of evil in this world.

Just got to the end of chapter 6, I dont think i can read anymore as i am just so upset. At 1 point i thought 'this must be made up' as no child could possibly go through that much. But reading posts by others dont think your life is going 2 get any eaiser just yet. I cant even start to imagine what u must of felt. Will send another post when i have finished the book, but just needed 2 send this post now, such a brave brave boy!

hi joe finished your book after 2days of getting it jut couldnt put it down. i aint normally one for books but there was something about this one that made we want it and with out a doubt i will be getting the next. you are one very remarkable man to come out and share your story.

my heart and soul goes out to you as you must have been told a million times,and also to the tens of thousands of children have had to endure and still recieve the treatment like you have had.
in this filthy dirty society that we live in it sickens to the core how these type of evil animals can get away with these sadistic and unbearable acts and get away with it. your book is not the first that i have read about true life abuse, have read, please daddy no, not without my sisters, street kid,damaged, broken and then your book which i have just finished this hour.of all these books which i find are truly gripping,upseting, shocking i must say that it is such a testiment to all the authors strength and resilience to be able to share and open our eyes as to what has and does actually happen everyday to somebody somewhere(god be with them).
i actually thought that the last book i read(broken)1 week ago,that i would not be able to read such a read like it in a longtime,of anything as shocking,untill i read yours.joe,i have such vengance and fury inside me that i truly do want to go to the norwich area an kick the living shit of those evil monsters that was supposed to be your family,they make my blood crawl.
please tell me how i can help and join the battle to iradicate these horrible and disgusting monsters and abusers of the this earth, i am openly willing to stand up and be heard for the plight of what goes on in todays society(if you can call it one).
