Brutal training of child gymnasts
Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics - This will surely make you very angry, Beijing have terrible child abuse but in the form of training children to be Olympic medalists and we are encouraging Olympics? This will make you feel sick!! It made me so angry I in fact threw up that this is allowed to go on. How can the brutal training of child gymnasts be allowed to continue? If we as parents were pushing our children to these lengths surely we would be reported to Social Services…
Just take a look at the faces of the children in this You Tube video containing distressing images of the brutal training of child gymnasts in China; are they the faces of people taking pleasure in training or those of children being forced to endure hours of physical training that even an adult would find difficult to cope with?

i couldnt even watch all of this. i got as far as that poor little girl being stood on and forced down between her own legs. this is horrific. why on earth arent these mothers letting their children have a childhood? is being in the olympics or even just good at sport so important that they abused their own children in this way. these people should not be allowed to have children. it akes me so mad that people treat their children so badly, if they do not like their children then why the bloody hell did they have them in the first place. i completely adore my son, is my absolute world. i want the very best for him and i try my hardest to give him the childhood he deserves. rant over

How can anyone do this to a child and call it training? I can’t understand in this day and age how these people get away with it. Why aren’t the authorities stepping in and stopping children being abused in this way. The Olympic officials are hot on the heels of athletes taking drugs or cheating but allow this kind of thing to happen without anything being done, It’s a disgrace.
