Cry Silent Tears still at number one
As an author one of the things I do, and not for ego, is check the Times Online Best Seller List for UK Books on a weekly basis. Some may think that this is egotistical but I can assure you it isn’t. My reasoning for checking is that each time I see the list and see Cry Silent Tears still at number one it means my message is getting out there and The Foundation of Survivors is one step closer to becoming a reality.
Ok – so a little of it is ego I guess; I spent many years teaching myself to read and write properly and to see Cry Silent Tears still at number one is a dream come true. I was lucky enough to have a friend like Andrew Croft who helped me with grammatical writing and read through pages and pages of my writing helping me to prepare Cry Silent Tears for publication.
Ultimately though the thrill of seeing Cry Silent Tears still at number one is that it brings new hope that people are still reading my story and my aim is that the book may be used as a teaching aid for all professionals to learn from; to see how easily even the most horrific abuse can be missed.
